Buddhism calls the world of Enlightenment “Higan” while the world we live in is called “Shigan”. Between these two worlds we can reach a “state” of “Mind Healing”, or KOKORO IYASHI, according to head priest Takahashi Junyu at Shoden Temple in Yokote, who has taken part in a variety of mind healing practices.
“Even someone like me had difficulty understanding such a `state` at first.”
Even a pure, clear mind wavers and hesitates and is delicate, easily broken like glass in daily life.
So we look for new ways to understand this “Mind Healing” with simple, unique experiences.
Join us in Yokote to heal the mind through a variety of local activities when you feel the weight of mental fatigue of daily life.
